The weekend of the 1st and 2nd of September saw the launch for sale of the Waterside Apartments at St. James Court , adjacent to the Globe Centre in Accrington.

Three show apartments were available for viewing including a single bedroom and two two bedroom units, with balconies. Waterside represents the latest in a series of exciting regeneration and investment programmes which are transforming the Scaitcliffe area into one of the most modern and rapidly growing areas of the town.

Approximately 30 viewings took place and three apartments have already been reserved. Mr. Damian Howarth was the first to reserve an apartment and said it was a great opportunity and he was really impressed with the quality and affordability.

Mr. Steve Ward of Panacea Financial Services based in Manchester attended the weekend to offer mortgage advice. Mr Ward said: “I do a lot of these sort of launches, but I have to admit the level of serious interest that has been shown here is second to none.  I will be back in Accrington during the week and I have eight people that I think I can help”.

A development of 55 apartments in the centre of Accrington goes on sale for the first time on Friday the 31st. August at mid-day. Waterside Accrington features a wide selection of contemporary one and two bedroom apartments.

The Waterside apartments are the latest development from Globe Enterprises Ltd. This company is a partnership of Barnfield Developments Ltd., Mr. Stuart Nevison and Hyndburn Borough Council. The release of these apartments is the latest in a number of regeneration projects undertaken in Accrington by the Globe partnership including The Globe Centre, The Accrington Superbowl and Vue Cinema complex and Scaitcliffe House - the home of Hyndburn Borough Council.
